Bethézer shows the love of the Christadelphian community by providing food, shelter, and education to needy communities.

Bethézer has particularly focused on educational projects, working on the principle that education leads to better opportunities and improved quality of life, both for individuals and their communities.

Where your contributions have helped so far….

 Tanna, Vanuatu

  • In 2005 construction of the Kapalpal School Buildings commenced, one of the only structures on Tanna to withstand Cyclone Pam
  • School enrolments grew from 25 to 250 in 5 years
  • A composting toilet was installed to improve health outcomes
  • 250 children are feed on school lunch program each school day
  • Teachers Housing built to house next to the school
  • Extra class rooms built for year 8 and 9
  • Students, teachers and community access the clean water from the rainwater tanks
  • Students, teachers and community have access to hygiene & medical centre
  • Many baptisms as a direct result of the school community and gospel proclamation

Cambodia

  • The dorms, which opened in 2008, allow students to further their studies in the city, which they would otherwise be unable to afford.
  • Once the students are a resident in the dorms they have access to attend the following: Weekly Bible Classes, Sunday Memorial Meeting at the BEC & General Learning Seminars
  • 43 Students currently residing in our dorms
  • 63% of the Brothers and Sisters in Cambodia were, at one stage, living in the dorms (An analysis of the Brothers and Sisters in 2017)
  • Friends and family who have heard the gospel as a result of spending time with the students who are living or have lived in the dorms.
