Family time:
Recently, it was organized for the parents of the students lodging at the dormitories to visit. Blankets, pillows and mosquito nets were provided for
them to spend a night at the dormitory. A community meal was shared, along with the Good news of God and his purpose for our lives and this world. It was explained that this was a Christian based home, due to the blessing of the dormitory and of God’s love for his people.
Environmental Day:
A trip was organised to clean up the rubbish at Koh Dach Resort. All students, staff, food sellers, commune chief, and the Resort Manager helped. We focused on educating the food sellers about the impact of throwing rubbish everywhere in the resort and how it would badly impact the environment and affect tourists not wanting to come to visit and swim. A big clean up with everyone helping showed how beautiful the area God created could be if we care for it.
Training Courses:
3 courses on Financial Management, Climate Change, and Understanding Corruption was also run. The local schools are not teaching these subjects, so sister Loy who has these skills were asked to help the students and their friends learn about these important life topics.
